Timber fences & Wire mesh fences are the most popular materials used with home owners. One is more cost effective and the other holds a higher degree of aesthetic appeal. Depending on the height and specifications, wire mesh is faster to install and requires minimal if any maintenance.
Budget is a huge deciding factor with material choice as not many people have the budget to worry about pretty – they need something to be installed fast and does the trick. In comes Wire Mesh again.
The “more” part:
Many if not most industries & trades need to broaden their skills and service offerings to compete in todays rather harsh market. Bernardus (owner & operator of Timbercon) decided to draw on his extensive carpentry skills and set up a workshop where he can manufacture timber products for the client that demands something unique and custom.
To date our most ordered and used product would have to be the planter box. These have been used by clients to create the most wonderful & useful veggie & herb gardens. Not only have private clients approached us but we have also worked along side landscapers to create something inline with both their and their clients vision.
